Bringing On The Metal~

There are some of us on here who add video's and have music players displaying our favorite tunes. I personally have my own playlist on my profile page, I have also uploaded videos. Coyote is very good about letting everyone know about new ways to put up your music. He has posted about the playlist and now he has posted about how to put up a playlist with videos.
When you want to be on here and listen to tunes as well, ours are pop out players, you are free to pop them out and rock out while you chat with friends, post your own blogs, whatever.

If you know of a band that is just trying to make it, I want to know about them. Do you personally know any bands? Members of bands? Tell me! I know a few myself. We can swap stories! I know I have a few good ones.

One of my friends, has a good metal band with their first CD... 'Against the Plagues', they are what he considers a melodic band..a mix of death, speed, and melody. Very good. I have posted his website on here on the front page already!

Who is your favorite? Your all time? Who is your favorite guitarist or basist? Drummer? Steve Harris from Iron Maiden is my fave... well, I have a couple but he is a personal one. :) Darrell with Five Finger Death Punch is a friend and fave, Simon from the LoveCrave... there are a few more. Share with me!!!

Above anything else...rock through life..it makes it so much better!

They are trying to get votes so they can play at OzzFest. The Bear is my personal favorite song, check them out, it's worth it!

I was probably too wasted myself to take note of too much:/ you cant beat the classics though!! I have to say though..that I DO like ur band. Which is different from most of what I listen to.

Comment by Leith Carnie on December 28, 2008 at 5:16pm: I dont know too much about Disturbed or Drowning Pool. Stone Sour I enjoy, they kinda have that cheesy old school sound. Yeah, all the classics are good! Ozzy? For a drug fucked old fuddy, he can still crank out a good tune! Good on him!
Another great band that isnt too well known, but very influenial is Pigface. Theyve been around since the late 80's and have had too big a line up to name them all. They have just released a new album.

I don't listen to the whole CD, but in order to have those songs I need the whole thing... :) I am still into Motley Crue and Loverboy and BIlly Squire and Metallica and Iron Maiden, Pantera, Black Sabbath, All the things on my playlist and some more....BUT- I will like a few songs of a band and not like the rest, with some bands only though, with the ones I listed, I like it all..But so true!!!! about the growing up thing... I was going to say..."ya, right, you mature..lololol" NAA, you are mature enough to be an excellent father.. thats what counts! :) Anyways... I find it funny that you responded to the Korn CD I am getting and left the others haha. You know what the best is?? Ozzy!!! Rock on!

I enjoyed their first couple of albums, but now.... well a bunch of 40 something year olds still singing about how much it sucks to be a teenager is getting a bit..... old. Bit of a perpetual Peter Pan syndrome. Other bands Ive been into have matured as I have (Yeah, me matured? PAH!) but its like Korn havent realised their original fans arent still hiding in their bedroom, thinking how much their parents just dont understand them by feeding them steamed brocolli.

I think I am going to get a new Korn, Stone Sour & I am trying to decide between Disturbed-Drowning Pool-Metallica hmmm, choices. but I lost those ones and so need to replace.. Maybe I will just go with Hammerfall .. I have been on my profile rockin out A LOT the last couple of days. I have some good tunes on there. I am still stuck on My Obsession..hey theres an idea, I need a new Skillet. LOL.. I just need a money tree.

My daughter has been dancing to it for ages, and still does.

My son often sings one of my songs "Neurotic Majesty" which always makes me smile.
