I am the cat which battled heroically in the night when the enemies of the setting sun were overwhelmed.

Writing

I write short stories and novels. I don't stick to any particular genre, although much of my writing depicts elements of the paranormal as it has been part of my life since... well... as long as I remember. My early work was written from experiences with past life regression, so could be considered as Historic Romance. I try to add a sense of horror to stories by introducing aspects of the supernatural. I consider supernatural as being different from paranormal, the latter being, to me, more the realistic side of the unexplained. I spent ten years married to a Spiritualist psychic medium, to whom talking with spirits of the dead was normal.

I write a little poetry, usually on dark subjects, but never consider myself to be a poet. I liken it to weaving colourful patterns with words on a form, which hopefully depict an image to the reader like a tapestry.

So welcome to my world of cold shadows, where angels tremble in fear of dreams, and nocturnal hunters prowl the nightmare realms, their steel tipped claws raking the naked flesh of innocence.
